Year 12 Adviser

Only 5 weeks to go for Year 12! I am so excited for the adventures ahead though there are a few important dates to look forward to when returning after trial examinations.  I look forward to getting creative whilst celebrating the final weeks of their schooling career. Important dates are as follows:

Week 7

Tuesday 3^rd book week Magic themed- remind students to start looking into costume choices!

Thursday 5^th Teacher appreciation day

Week 8 

Thursday 12^th RUOK Day

Friday 13^th Burger fundraiser MVHS Mac and cheeseburger and a talent show in the hall.

 Week 9 

Thursday 19^th Anything but a bag day 

Week 10

Monday 23^rd Auction Day, decorate the senior area, take on the teacher soccer game, activities at the basin and school zooper doopers- looking for donations.

Tuesday 24^th Offsite excursion Revolution sports park Newcastle

Wednesday 25^th: Uniform swap, Graduation preparation. 4pm graduation. 

Dear Year 12,

As you stand at the threshold of your trial examinations and graduation, it’s time to reflect on the incredible journey you’ve undertaken and celebrate the remarkable achievements you’ve accomplished. The lead up to the HSC has been a challenging, rewarding, and transformative experience, and you’ve navigated it with resilience, determination, and grace.

I am so proud of each one of you, for your unwavering dedication to your studies, the countless hours spent preparing for exams, and your commitment to learning. You have faced unprecedented challenges, and your ability to adapt and persevere has been nothing short of inspiring. Each one of you has demonstrated exceptional character, and I am incredibly proud of your accomplishments.

As you move forward into the next exciting chapter of your life, whether it be further education, entering the workforce, or exploring new adventures, remember that the skills and knowledge you’ve gained will serve as a strong foundation for your future endeavours. Embrace every opportunity with confidence and curiosity and continue to pursue your passions with the same enthusiasm you’ve shown during your HSC journey.

I also want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the teachers, families, and friends who have supported you along the way. Your success is a testament to their encouragement and belief in your potential.

As you step into the world beyond high school, know that the entire school community is cheering you on. We have no doubt that you will make a positive impact wherever you go. Stay true to yourself, keep striving for excellence, and never stop learning.

Congratulations once again, HSC Class of 2024! We wish you all the best for a bright and prosperous future. May your path be filled with joy, success, and endless possibilities.

Thank you for growing with me in the 6 years at Mount View High School. I look forward to seeing you all graduate and we will celebrate at the Year 12 formal on the 14^th of November.
