Celebrating Achievements and Upcoming Milestones in Teaching and Learning

This term has been bustling with creativity, collaboration, and preparation across our diverse classrooms. As we look ahead to 2025, let’s take a moment to celebrate some standout accomplishments and highlight key milestones.

Cooking Up Success in GEM and EAL/D

Students from the GEM class and EAL/D background have been shining in the kitchen, showcasing their culinary skills and enthusiasm for hands-on learning. Through guided cooking sessions, students not only prepared delicious dishes but also built their teamwork, communication, and practical life skills. These activities have fostered a sense of community and achievement, breaking language and ability barriers while promoting social learning.

Project Eagle: Ready for Takeoff

The much-anticipated Project Eagle submissions are in, and the results are simply fabulous! Students have gone above and beyond, producing innovative and thoughtful projects that reflect their hard work and creativity. These submissions were displayed at an Expo in Week 9, where families, peers, and staff celebrated the incredible efforts of our learners.

Disability Provisions for the 2025 HSC

Looking toward the future, preparations for the 2025 HSC Disability Provisions are underway. Paperwork for eligible students has now been distributed and must be returned by Term 1, 2025. These provisions ensure that all students have the opportunity to perform at their best under fair and equitable conditions. Families are encouraged to review the paperwork and reach out if they have any questions or require support with the application process.
