Happy holidays Year 11 students, parents, carers, and families. Here is to a well earned break before returning fresh in 2025!
Congratulations to Year 11 for their application and effort in establishing a positive foundation for their HSC year. I am so very proud of everyone as each student has grown so much to develop a persistent approach to learning. As a result, students have independently managed to complete their work to the best of their ability and establish routines to achieve success.
On Wednesday some students attended their last swimming carnival as students. Some celebrated by smashing their personal bests, while others focused on staying afloat during the hilarious inflatable races down the pool. With plenty of laughter and friendly competition, it was a fantastic way to celebrate the end of the term.
Thursday saw some year 11 attending the end of year rewards excursion to Raging Waters in Sydney, many tackling the water slides and rides. I hope the students who attended had a wonderful time.
In preparation for our return, a small formal committee has been established. A meeting will be held early in the year to continue discussing ways to raise funds and organise locations. If students missed the opportunity to join, they need to listen out for notices for more information.
