Term 3 done and dusted, it will be Christmas before we know it!
We have had a busy term both in and outside the classroom. Some of the Year 9 students supported “Steam Day”, a Year 6 transition day held at the PCYC. Year 9 students ran the activities and delivered lessons to the groups of Year 6 students. Year 9 should be commended on their efforts and their outstanding work on the day.
There will be other opportunities for Year 9 to support transition days next term, including Taster Lessons in Week 4, Jumpstart in Weeks 5 and 7 and then Orientation Day in Week 8. If there are any students who are considering being a peer support leader and haven’t put their names down with Mrs Collier, please do so ASAP.
When we come back to term 4, please be mindful that the majority of our assessments will be in the first 6 weeks of next term. Plan ahead and be prepared to avoid unnecessary stress and anxiety.

We would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the lands. We acknowledge the 3 language groups in our AECG area. The Awabakal people, the Wonnarua people and the Darkinjung people. We show respect to our Elders past and present, along with the leaders of the future who are learning and carrying forward our traditions and culture both here at school and in the wider community. We extend that respect to the Aboriginal people present today, as well as the non-Aboriginal people here, as we continue working together on carrying our culture forward.
