Teaching & Learning

It has been a busy and productive term within the Teaching and Learning Faculty, and it’s been a pleasure to witness the progress and enthusiasm of our students across various activities.

Transition 6-7

One of our key focuses has been on supporting our Year 6 students as they prepare for their transition into high school. We’ve been out on visits to all our feeder primary schools, working closely with students and their teachers to ensure they feel confident and excited about joining our school community. These visits have been a wonderful opportunity to get to know the incoming students, and we look forward to welcoming them next year.

Literacy/Numeracy interventions

This term, Teaching and Learning has continued to provide a range of literacy and numeracy interventions. These targeted interventions are tailored to meet individual needs and our students have made remarkable strides in their reading fluency and comprehension, writing, and numeracy skills. We would like to congratulate all our students on their incredible accomplishments! Their dedication and achievements are truly commendable, and we eagerly anticipate their continued success in the future.

GEM Class

Meanwhile, our Gem class has been developing some impressive skills in the kitchen. Under the guidance of their teachers, they have been busy preparing a variety of delicious meals. Some of the dishes they have mastered include gozleme, spaghetti bolognese, and crepes. The students are not only learning practical cooking skills, but are also building their independence and confidence. It's been fantastic to see the dedication and enthusiasm in the kitchen.

Warm regards,
