Teaching and Learning

Upon reflection of Term 2, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all students for participating in the Tell Them From Me Survey. Your feedback is invaluable, helping us understand your experiences and shape the future of our school. Your voices matter, and we are committed to listening and acting on your insights to enhance our educational environment.

I am thrilled to share the fantastic work of our Project Eagle students. Under the guidance of Mr Nathan Russell, students in the Enrichment Programs across Years 7-8 have been engaged in creating innovative board games and pursuing personal interest projects. This initiative not only encourages creativity and critical thinking but also allows students to explore their passions in a meaningful way. We are incredibly proud of their dedication and look forward to seeing the results of their hard work.

Additionally, in Teaching and Learning, we continue to recognise the importance of each student's capacity to learn and reach their full potential. If you have any concerns regarding your child's progress, please do not hesitate to contact Ms Sophia Vaughan. She can discuss approved provisions to ensure your child receives the necessary support and make recommendations.

Moving into Term 3- students in years 7-9 will be sitting the annual Check-In assessments for reading/numeracy. These assessments will provide a platform for students to receive additional support where they are needed to ensure that every student can be successful in school and ready to meet minimum standards in Year 10 as a requirement for achieving the HSC.
