The Principal's View

Our Year 12 students have now completed their HSC exams. Staff are incredibly proud of the commitment and effort shown by our students through this final chapter. For some of our students, the hard work and effort has already started to pay dividends, with many students receiving early entry confirmation for university courses. I am certain there will be many great news stories to come, and we look forward to celebrating the achievements of our Year 12 2023 cohort at the HSC result and ATAR breakfast, Friday December 15.

YEAR 7 2024

Staff and students have been preparing to warmly welcome our new Year 7 students for 2024. Starting high school is an exciting time for students and parents, and it is an experience we are here to support and enrich.  Our Learning and Wellbeing Teams have been working this term to plan our arrangements for our upcoming Orientation Day.

On Tuesday 28 November we will be hosting our Year 7 2024 students and their parents and carers for Orientation Day. Students will be introduced to key personnel, participate in activities and will be informed of the many programs available at our great school. They will also have the opportunity to connect with our Year 9 Peer Support Leaders and establish relationships with their peer group. The staff and students at Mount View High School are looking forward to welcoming the incoming Year 7 students to our school community in 2024. Additionally, we eagerly await the opportunity to develop a strong and productive partnership with our parents and carers over the next 6 years with the newest members of our Mount View High School community.
