We are delighted to share some exciting updates from the Industrial Technology Timber classes as we head towards the end of Term 4. Terms 3 and 4 have been particularly productive, with Year 12 students successfully completing their major projects, Year 11 students preparing for assessment, and Year 10 students making progress on their latest project.
The Year 12 students have demonstrated their skills and creativity with their major projects. Dellainie Davies crafted a remarkable Swinging Chair that showcases both comfort and elegance. Caylan Law designed and built a Bar, displaying his ability to juggle many different pursuits. Lastly, Connor Spurway successfully completed his Dining Table, achieving a balance between practicality and aesthetic appeal.
We extend our congratulations to Dellainie Davies, Caylan Law, and Connor Spurway for their outstanding achievements in their Year 12 major projects. Your hard work and dedication have not gone unnoticed. Well done!
Shifting our focus to our Year 11 students, who completed their Hall Tables towards the end of Term 3. We are thrilled to witness the knowledge and expertise they have gained throughout the year being put to practical use.
Lastly, we would also like to acknowledge the hard work of our Year 10 students as they near completion of their current project. They have been diligently crafting Dartboard Cabinets that will be finished in the coming weeks. These cabinets will be put to good use in the upcoming Project 10 interviews. We commend our Year 10 students who have achieved their personal best for their dedication and perseverance in creating quality work.
To all our Industrial Technology Timber students - Year 12, Year 11, and Year 10 - we congratulate you all on your achievements thus far. Your commitment to excellence and pursuit of personal bests is commendable.
Please remember that the Industrial Technology Timber teachers are here to support you in all aspects of your learning journey. Do not hesitate to reach out if you have any queries or require additional assistance.

Hospitality
During Term 3, Year 11 hospitality students prepared and served a two course menu to the Cessnock Leos. The dinner comprised of two mains and two desserts, designed to be easily assembled and served quickly. The students completed mis en place to ensure that each menu item was adequately stocked and did so in a professional manner. See the menu below. Miss Freeman and the students worked collaboratively to deliver a wonderful service to reflect industry standards. We are incredibly proud of how competently they presented themselves to deliver such quality service. Thank you to the Leos club for the opportunity.
