Year 11 have adjusted well to senior studies. With many having now completed their first round of senior assessment, they are beginning to realise the importance of planning. Parents are encouraged to remind students that they have the support of a senior study tutor to assist with organisation and preparation. Miss Schafer is available on Thursday afternoon in the school library.
I have been impressed with students communicating directly with their teachers as many have been unwell during the term. I encourage students to use the appeal process if they are ill or suffer a misadventure. In addition, parents can telephone to discuss areas of concern.
As term two approaches, we look forward to ordering our senior jerseys. Please watch out for an email that will confirm the design. Students have had the chance to vote upon the design they prefer, and all will be revealed shortly.
Wishing you all the best for a lovely break and looking forward to a productive and memorable Term 2.

We would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the lands. We acknowledge the 3 language groups in our AECG area. The Awabakal people, the Wonnarua people and the Darkinjung people. We show respect to our Elders past and present, along with the leaders of the future who are learning and carrying forward our traditions and culture both here at school and in the wider community. We extend that respect to the Aboriginal people present today, as well as the non-Aboriginal people here, as we continue working together on carrying our culture forward.
