Term 4 has been a busy one for Year 7 students, with lots of assessments and hard work. It was great to see parents and carers coming to the school to support and congratulate students receiving awards at the Principal’s assembly. I would like to congratulate award recipients and all students on their efforts and their continued motivation to achieve their personal best outcomes. No matter how small or insignificant an achievement may seem, it is still an achievement and they are all important.
Swim School was a great success; the weather was wonderful and participation levels were high. The last day was picture perfect with a day at the beach and a swim at Merewether Baths. The fun didn’t end there though. An excursion to Revolution Park and Raging Waters was a fantastic end to their first year of high school.
This year has been such a positive start, with friendships and memories to last a lifetime made. I can’t wait to see what the years ahead will bring.
Well done Year 7- Have a wonderful Christmas and relaxing holiday break.
See you in the New Year.
