Year 10 Adviser Report

What a rollercoaster of a term we have had! It is wonderful to see all of Year 10 back and settled into a regular routine again, a sentiment no doubt echoed by parents everywhere. Since our return, Year 10 students have been working hard and completing the various tasks enabling them to move towards senior schooling. This week, NESA HSC Minimum Standards testing has been occurring, organised by Ms Knipe, Careers Adviser. I’d like to congratulate everyone on their mature approach to this compulsory testing. There will be further opportunities to undertake the test should your child require this.

Immunisations for Meningococcal Disease are scheduled for July 1 (Week 10) and I seek to remind parents to return any outstanding forms to the Front Office. Nurses will be at the school to administer this from the LEAP Centre.

A gentle reminder that UNIFORM is currently being targeted. Those in the new uniform are looking fabulous – the jackets in particular are both practical and stylish. Should you have any issues outfitting your child, please let me know and we will endeavour to solve the problem.

Our SRC representatives are really stepping up and supporting student wellbeing for their peers. I want to congratulate this group on their hard work and dedication; they really go above and beyond to make MVHS the best place it can be. Well done!

‘Til next term, take care and stay warm!
