Maitland Federation Centre
Students in Years 10, 11 & 12 are invited to attend the Hunter Valley Careers Expo on Friday 16th May at Maitland Federation Centre. The Expo will give students the opportunity to visit a wide range of exhibitors and we encourage students to attend. Numbers are limited so make sure you register your interest at the Futures Centre to be added to Schoolbytes -permission & payment of $5.00 must be given to secure your seat on the bus.

Mount View High School
On Tuesday 20th May during our wellbeing lesson we are hosting our very own World's Greatest Shave event. Many students have signed up to have their hair cut and have raised a huge amount of money already. There will be a BBQ at recess with all proceeds going to the World's Greatest Shave - Leukaemia Foundation. Students wanting to participate in the shave must have a signed permission note and return it to Mrs Scheffler prior to the event. Permission notes are available to collect from the Student Counter.

Students involved in the 2025 Star Struck Dance Group will be attending the hold my hand rehearsal at Newcastle Basketball Stadium. Exact times are to be confirmed and will then be communicated directly to parents.

Mount View High School - Yarning Circle
Mount View High School's Aboriginal Education Team are excited to invite students and their families to the official opening of our Yarning Circle. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to come together as a school community, acknowledge the significance of the Yarning Circle and celebrate this meaningful space. For catering purposes - please call or email the office to RSVP before 3pm on Wednesday 21st May.

Year 7 Students whose parents/carers have provided online consent will be receiving their Immunisations as part of the NSW School Vaccination Program run by Nurses from Hunter New England Health. Parents/Carers will be emailed the instructions 1-2 weeks before. The link to the online registration and the step-by-step instructions are aslo linked to this event.
