All students return for Term 4 2025.
16/10/2025 - Year 12 - HSC Exams Commence
Date: Thursday 16th October 2025
Time: As per HSC Exam Timetable
Location: East Cessnock Bowling Club (ECBC)
The 2025 HSC Written Examinations commence Thursday 16th October and finish no later than Friday 7th November. Year 12 Students have been issued with their HSC Examination Schedule as well as other helpful information.
24/10/2025 - Year 9 Girls - Pit Stop Excursion
Date: Friday 24th October 2025
Time: 9:00am - 2:45pm
Location: PCYC Cessnock
All female students in Year 9 will be participating in the PitStop Health Promotion Program at PCYC Cessnock.
PitStop Health Promotion Program is delivered in small groups by a range of agencies which support the health care needs of young people.
Students & supervising staff will be departing Mount View High School at 9:00am and will be walking to PCYC Cessnock and returning to Mount View High School at 2:45pm.
There is NO COST to the students and all students are required to wear full school uniform.
27/10/2025 to 07/11/2025 - Year 8 - VALID8
Date: Monday 27th October - Friday 7th November 2025
Time: Per Timetable
Location: Mount View High School
VALID8 is an online, mandatory NSW DoE Science Assessment designed to test students problem-solving abilities. Students require their own wired-earphones to enable them to watch and listen to clips within the test.
31/10/2025 - Year 9 Boys - Pit Stop Excursion
Date: Friday 31st October 2025
Time: 9:00am - 2:45pm
Location: PCYC Cessnock

Location: Rydges Resort Hunter Valley
Mount View High School's graduating class of 2025 are invited to come celebrate the end of an era. with photos from 5:00pm followed by dinner, dancing & much more from 6:00pm.
Payment can be made online via School Bytes or in person at the Front Office / Student Counter.
