23/04/2026 - All Students - Athletics Carnival

Date: Thursday 23rd April 2026

Time: 9:00am - 2:30pm

Location: Turner Park - Aberdare Road, Cessnock

Mount View High School's Annual Athletics Carnival will be held at Turner Park Cessnock commencing at 9:00am sharp.

It is recommended for students to make their own way to Turner Park. If this is not possible the school will be providing a shuttle bus service from the school bus bay from 8:20am.

Canteen facilities will be available on the day.

24/04/2026 - Years 7, 9 & 11 - ANZAC Day Assembly

Date: Friday 24th April 2026

Time: 9:10am

Location: Mount View High School - MPC

Mount View High School will be holding an ANZAC Day Assembly to honour and remember the courage, sacrifice, and service of the Australian and New Zealand Soldiers who served our country.

Students and staff will come together to reflect on the importance of remembrance and the values of courage, mateship, and respect that ANZAC Day represents.

24/04/2026 - Years 8, 10, 12 & KuNarr - ANZAC Day Assembly

Date: Friday 24th April 2026

Time: 10:00am

Location: Mount View High School - MPC

Mount View High School will be holding an ANZAC Day Assembly to honour and remember the courage, sacrifice, and service of the Australian and New Zealand Soldiers who served our country.

25/04/2026 - ANZAC Day Student March

Date: Saturday 25th April 2026

Time: 11:00am

Location: Vincent Street Kitchen & Bar Carpark

Students from Mount View High School are invited to attend the march for ANZAC Day on Saturday 25th April 2026 commencing at 11.00am.

We will assemble in the vicinity of the car park of the Vincent Street Kitchen and Bar (The old Ex-Services Club) no later than 11.00am.

Students must be in full school uniform.

27/04/2026 - ANZAC Day Additional Public Holiday

Date: Monday 27th April 2026

Time: All Day

Additional Public Holiday for ANZAC Day - Students return to School on Tuesday 28th April.

01/05/2026 - Year 12 - Midcourse Principal's Assembly

Date: Friday 1st May 2026

Time: 12:00pm

Location: Mount View High School - MPC

Year 12 Students will be receiving their midcourse reports. Principal's Awards will also be presented.

All parents/carers are invited to attend. Parents/carers of students receiving awards will be notified via email in the week prior.

19/05/2026 - Year 7 - Immunisations

Date: Tuesday 19th May 2026

Time: 9:00am - 2:30pm

Location: Mount View High School - LEAP Centre

Each year NSW Health works in partnership with schools to offer the vaccines recommended by the National Health and Medical Research Council for adolescents as part of the school vaccination program.

In Year 7, students are offered the Gardasil9 (HPV) & Boostrix (dTpa) vaccinations. Providing consent for School Vaccinations is now completed online by clicking on the link below:  https://engage.health.nsw.gov.au/engage

The Year 7 Immunisation Clinic is Tuesday 19th May, Term 2 Week 5 - Vaccinations will only be provided at school if consent has been received.
