Lunch Club
Teaching and Learning have been offering a range of lunch club activities where students who have been struggling with the playground have been able to enjoy a variety of activities and a space to meet new people. Miss Vaughan and Miss Killeen have been opening these spaces at recess and lunch. It encourages students to use verbal and non-verbal communication skills, take turns and work as a team. If you would like to know more about this come and see us opposite C110.
NAPLAN for Years 7 and 9, Term 2
NAPLAN assessments for students in years 7 and 9 will take place online from Tuesday the 3rd to Friday the 20th of May in weeks 3 and 4 term 2. The tests assess students in reading, writing, language conventions (spelling, grammar and punctuation) and numeracy. NAPLAN results are used, in addition to the normal assessments carried out in class, to help the school allocate resources where they are most needed and look closely at where individual students require assistance. The tests will be held as part of the school day and there is no need for students to study in advance. If you have any concerns or do not wish your child to participate, please contact the school.

We would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the lands. We acknowledge the 3 language groups in our AECG area. The Awabakal people, the Wonnarua people and the Darkinjung people. We show respect to our Elders past and present, along with the leaders of the future who are learning and carrying forward our traditions and culture both here at school and in the wider community. We extend that respect to the Aboriginal people present today, as well as the non-Aboriginal people here, as we continue working together on carrying our culture forward.
