2019 Published Lines for Year 9, 10 and 11

MVHS executive have spent a significant amount of time in developing the Elective Lines for 2019. The courses that are listed in the images attached allow the greatest number of students to study the majority of subjects that they indicated in their preference selection. Year 10 students selecting for Year 11 were interviewed by a panel of staff including the Futures Adviser Rebecca Rounsley, head timetabler Craig Jarrett and Jess Schafer, Senior Study Tutor. The result is a curriculum pattern that is diverse and caters to our various student needs.

We would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the lands in which we meet today. We acknowledge the 3 language groups in our AECG area. The Awabakal people to the East, the Wanaruah people to the North West, and the Darkinjung people to the south. We show respect to our Elders past and present, along with the leaders of the future who are learning and carrying forward our traditions and culture both here at school and in the wider community. We extend that respect to the Aboriginal people present today, as well as the non-Aboriginal people here, as we continue working together on carrying our culture forward.
