Our Cars Were Fast at Day 2 of the Races
Impro Racing and Pentessellate had a great start to the races. Both cars were fast and set early race times for the other teams to catch. Pentessellate have the fastest car in their division and Impro Racing and sitting in second place. The track conditions were slow but our cars were tuned to the new track conditions (thanks to the school and the P & C) and performed better than expected.
Pentessellate and Impro Racing had a busy day meeting all the event commitments while keeping positive about how things were progressing. The stress of this STEM Challenge was taking its toll on some of the teams but Mount View High School stepped up and met all expectations – advising other teams what to do and how to achieve a great result. Well done teams!
Tonight we are rehearsing for tomorrow’s events and planning to get to bed as early as possible. We start with a very early rise to pack the buses and trailer and then compete all day before the awards ceremony late in the afternoon (the events are running behind schedule so we will be late home). We are expecting to arrive back at school at approximately 7.30pm (if the rain stays away).
