Bring Your Own Device information night

In 2017 Mount View High School will launch its BYOD program. We will be holding an information evening to allow parents and students to gain an understanding of the BYOD policy that will be implemented at MVHS. Of note I would like to make clear that it will NOT be compulsory for students to have a laptop at Mount View High School in 2017. Secondly I would also like to clarify that although a number of devices have previously been presented on our Facebook page, these represent a sample of the types of devices that will meet device requirements. Apple Mac, Chromebooks and a various other brands of laptops are all acceptable devices, as long as they meet policy requirements. If you are unsure bring your laptop along on the night to check.

We would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the lands in which we meet today. We acknowledge the 3 language groups in our AECG area. The Awabakal people to the East, the Wanaruah people to the North West, and the Darkinjung people to the south. We show respect to our Elders past and present, along with the leaders of the future who are learning and carrying forward our traditions and culture both here at school and in the wider community. We extend that respect to the Aboriginal people present today, as well as the non-Aboriginal people here, as we continue working together on carrying our culture forward.
