Term 2 Week 2 MVHS

Mount View High School will be fully operational on Monday 27 April and very happy to welcome students and staff back for a successful Term 2.  We thank you for your patience while we cleaned up the school.  Many staff have suffered damage to their own homes or have been unable to get to the school until today.  Some staff are still isolated in their homes without electricity or other amenities.  We know too that many of our families have been severely affected by the events of this week.  Please let us know if there is any way in which we can help.

There will be a "big brekkie" at school from 8am on Monday 27 April to welcome everyone back.

We would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the lands in which we meet today. We acknowledge the 3 language groups in our AECG area. The Awabakal people to the East, the Wanaruah people to the North West, and the Darkinjung people to the south. We show respect to our Elders past and present, along with the leaders of the future who are learning and carrying forward our traditions and culture both here at school and in the wider community. We extend that respect to the Aboriginal people present today, as well as the non-Aboriginal people here, as we continue working together on carrying our culture forward.
