PEAK Performance Program - Boys
HPGE Focus – Physical Domain (with sub-focus on Social-Emotional Domain)
This program supports students in developing high-level physical skills and athletic performance. Students engage in targeted training to improve strength, coordination, endurance, and sport-specific techniques. The program also fosters social-emotional growth through teamwork, goal setting, communication, and personal reflection, helping students build confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Entry to the Peak Performance Program
Students in Years 8, 9, and 10 are selected through a performance trial held at the end of Term 4 and a written application. Entry is based not only on athletic skill, but also on demonstrated effort, motivation, and a commitment to personal growth. Students must also agree to the Peak Performance Code of Conduct and Student Contract, which outline expectations around behaviour, effort, and attitude.
Program Aim and Intent
The Peak Performance Program is designed to move students from physical potential to high performance in sport and movement. It provides opportunities to develop both fundamental and advanced movement skills, improve fitness levels, and apply discipline through structured training. The program also emphasises teamwork, leadership, and positive behaviours, aiming to build student engagement, responsibility, and pride. Through consistent effort and high expectations, students are supported to thrive — in sport, at school, and in life.
